Abaddon from Creepy (Issue #4)

Some of you might remember a post a few months ago, announcing the release of issue #4 of the newly revived Creepy comic book, put out by Dark Horse.

Here's Paul's beautifully rendered illustration of Abaddon, featured in the issue.

  2. love this...the whole intense scene at the bottom kinda reminds me of Alan Lee's work, instead of faeires, there's deadly, carnivorous insect...things.

  5. I can nearly hear the cacophony of bristling chitin and wailing terror! Paul, this is masterfully obsessive and horrifying. As soon as I found out that you did an insert for this I picked one up.

  7. With that fairy-queen butterfly this makes for a perfect adult continuation of one of my childhood favourites, Faeries (Froud, Lee, Larkin).

    Dark, gritty, very adult continuation.
