Crab Claws and Gears
Here's another update on the Fat Zombie. I've incorporated some new elements that will hopefully push him to a new bio-mechanical styled nightmare.
The crab claws and gears are part of a parasitic creature that lives inside the fat zombie.
Similar to certain amphibians carrying unhatched eggs on their back, the Fat Zombie is filled with a huge variety of disturbing and dangerous creatures.
I used some resin castings I made of Crab Claws (as well as a crab shell) from another project and added some small gears, screws and bolts. This is still very much a work in progress.
Thanks for looking!

I tend to forget how amazing this piece looked in the early stages. To me, it looks even more like Paul's sketch at this rough phase. So putrid, loose, and sloughing away.
ReplyDeleteI've got some REALLY early photos of this sculpt, back when Norm had the rough sculpt over at Jordu's. It's a fairly well documented beast, for certain.
ReplyDeleteI keep forgetting about those pics Paul, we definitely need to get them up here.
ReplyDeleteThis piece was such an exciting project for me. I could have worked on this thing forever, constantly changing it.
New pictures of Mr. Fatty in his salad days coming soon...
